ABU to Host Bowie State on Saturday, November 18

Battler Beat has learned that the Alderson Broaddus men's basketball team will be hosting the Bowie State Bulldogs on Saturday, November 18th. The game is slated for an early 2 PM start at Rex Pyles Arena. Bowie State is coming off of a 2017 NCAA Atlantic Regional Tournament appearance where they lost to NCAA Division II runner up Fairmont State. ABU has won two of the last three games played against the Bulldogs. During the 2015-16 season, the Battlers upset a nationally-ranked Bowie State squad. The Bulldogs gained revenge last season defeating ABU 88-72 in Bowie, MD. BSU was the 2017 CIAA tournament champions.
