Battler Beat today profiles Darius Dudley who played this school year for Bedford High School in Bedford, OH. Dudley informed us that he will be transferring this upcoming school year to Lutheran East High School in Cleveland, OH. Darius is a 6'2"/185 pound shooting guard who showed excellent range and consistency in his three-point shot at the Alderson Broaddus University Elite Camp. He had some high spots this past season while playing for Bedford HS. Some of his more notable performances included: 13 points against both Highland HS and North Royalton HS and 11 points versus Kenston HS. Darius is a rising senior who looks to breakout this upcoming season.
Darius was noted twice by Battler Beat for his performances during the ABU Elite Camp. During camp update #1, we noted: "Darius Dudley showing some ability to break down a defender or step back." It was during the shooting drills where Darius caught Battler Beat's eye. He showed an ability to hit his 3-point shot consistently from both the wing position and from the corner position. We noted the following during camp update #3: "Darius Dudley from Bedford (OH) is hitting his outside shots." Battler Beat looks for Dudley to develop more of his offensive and defensive game during the off-season.
